Welcome to Paris!

Distinctive and Elegantly Furnished Left Bank and Central Paris Apartments

For guests heading to Paris, we propose staying in one of our distinctive, fully equipped, and elegantly furnished Left Bank and centrally located rental apartments.

The Left Bank (or Rive Gauche) has long been one of the most fashionable, exclusive areas of Paris (which mainly covers the 6th arrondissement with parts of the contiguous 5th and 7th arrondissements).

We think you will appreciate the difference between staying in a hotel (no matter how plush) and staying in one of our comfortable, fully equipped properties, where you can eat in if you are so inclined, where you can wash a few clothes from time to time, and where you can spread out and even entertain friends. From a purely practical and functional perspective there is no reason to choose a cramped, blandly furnished hotel room when you have the option of living in a much larger space with a unique, distinctive decor.

‘Old World’ Atmosphere and Modern Amenities

The atmosphere of our apartments is more charming 'Old World' than it is contemporary, despite the modern amenities (fully equipped kitchens, washing machines & dryers, cable TV, broadband internet etc…) that are necessary for comfortable living.

All of our apartments are located in historic buildings dating from the Middle Ages to the mid-19th century. These properties are strong on character, with thick walls, high ceilings, tall windows, old floor tiling or parquet flooring, and in certain apartments, exposed wooden beams and stone walls.

Porter Scott, our rental coordinator, antique expert, and interior design specialist, brings over 27 years of living in France and studying French art and craftsmanship to our team. His years of hands-on experience with rentals and renovations, coupled with an education at the Paris Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts (school of Fine Arts) allows us to combine a fully integrated approach to the high end furnished property rental market. Porter tries to use antique building materials wherever possible, and he furnishes & decorates the apartments with antiques and artwork that make each decor unique. We've worked very hard to accentuate the unique period characteristics of the decor, keeping or restoring as much of the original detailing as possible.

Serenity and Comfort

Why sacrifice the serenity of an authentic, spacious, two room apartment for the tedious sterility of a cramped hotel room? Our apartments have served a number of tenants well by providing a restful place to recuperate, think, read, write, paint, cook meals, entertain guests and get a good taste of leisurely Parisian life from the perspective of a resident (some people do come to work, nevertheless!) All of this is yours at prices competitive to the local neighborhood hotels. Furthermore, what we offer in the way of amenities easily surpasses what even the best hotels provide.

Security and Convenience

Safety is a significant feature of all of our apartments to the extent that the front doors of all the buildings are locked 24 hours a day, requiring access codes or security keys. Most of the apartments also have heavy duty steel plated doors as well as 3 pronged locks. In addition, each apartment has a detailed information binder with thorough instructions regarding the apartment itself, the surrounding neighborhood, where to find what you are looking for in Paris, and contact information for specific services you may want such as taxis, shuttle services, hairdressers, etc. Virtually all the niceties and requirements of urban life are conveniently located in close proximity to each apartment, thanks to the central location.

We hope you are now fully convinced that renting a furnished flat is the best way to enjoy your stay in Paris. We look forward to greeting you upon your arrival!
