Sèvres Babylone
Transparency and Light
Its all about transparency and light…A contemporary building inserted into the historic fabric of central Paris with some of the most fabulous views of the city anywhere to be found…and a spacious (western panorama) outdoor terrace from which to soak it all in…with a balcony on the eastern side as well!. The owner of this flat is quite the lucky man and anyone who chooses to stay here should feel equally fortunate, if only for a fortnight. The SÈVRES BABYLONE flat is for those who want to enjoy Paris in a luxurious, modern manner, with daily maid service and all of the requisite amenities for lush living.
Aside from the glorious views on each side of the flat, directly beneath this eagle’s nest, lies the Bonmarché gourmet grocery store, known as ‘La Grande Epicerie’. Here you can browse among the world’s best food products and custom make your gastronomic feast to be savoured up above the Parisian skyline. What could be more enticing I wonder?
The morning light pours in through the bedroom side of the flat (if your shutters are open) and the afternoon and evening light bathe the living room and outdoor terrace in a golden glow for the remainder of the day, provided that the sun is out, of course. You just might not want to leave your cosy abode, given the exquisite features of this flat; but the historic centre of Paris is right there at your fingertips. St. Germain des Près is only a few blocks away, as are the Luxembourg gardens.
Numerous metros, buses, and taxis are all just down below; but why not walk to where you are going? After all, you are in the very heart of the city.
Everyone’s definition of luxury is different, which reflects the subjective nature of the term; but most people would agree that being on top of the world’s most celebrated city with fabulous views of the skyline has all of the trappings of luxury, no matter what your taste is. Even if you prefer antiques and an ‘Old World’ décor, the combination of light, transparency, and contemporary furnishings in this flat make for a perfect marriage of pleasurable sensations that we should all be partial to. So often, contemporary decors, when photographed and presented in magazines, fall flat on their faces as somewhat sterile environments, one looking more like the other; but this one works. It is distinctive, it is elegant, and it will lift you to the very peak of Parisian pleasure.
Because of its exclusive nature, the owner of this flat is very particular about who he wants staying in his flat. He does not want more than 2 people in the flat; no children less than 12 years of age are allowed either; and a maximum stay of 2 weeks (with some flexibility). The price includes daily maid service, internet access, cable TV, and utilities; but no phone is provided, so it is best that for those wanting to rent this flat to foresee having their own cell phone. The ILoveParisApartments.com team can assist you in renting a cell phone during your stay, if need be.
For those who book for a minimum stay of 5 nights in the SÈVRES BABYLONE flat, ILoveParisApartments.com offers you a free consultation with our Concièrge Service (My Genie in Paris), if you so desire. They will assist you in organizing your daily schedule, purchasing tickets for you, setting up limousine services, etc. To set up an appointment with them, you simply need to go to our website and click on the CONCIERGE SERVICES link on the left hand side of the Home Page.
