Hello Porter - Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how very much we enjoyed the apartment. It couldn't have been more pleasant in every aspect. Also wanted to tell you how exceptional all your staff was, including the young man (whose name escapes me) who helped with a document I needed copied!    We had a great week in Paris!  The apartment comfortable, functional and in a wonderful location.  We enjoyed sitting in the park and reading the paper, having a cafe cream in a sidewalk cafe and in general, just hanging out. You were very helpful in orienting us to the apartment. The food store at Bon Marche is wonderful!  All in all, a great experience.  It was an enjoyable stay and memorable week.

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the apartment that we rented from you and to tell you what a fantastic time we had while in Paris this past week. We rented the apartment on the Rue de Picardie and couldn't have been more thrilled with the apartment, location and all of the help both you provided us with.

We couldn't have felt more safe in that apartment, with its multiple locks, entries, etc. and up to date facilities.

Thank you also for your quick responses, help and advice in confirming the rental, tips for Paris etc. I know it was very short notice, but it came together so smoothly and we really appreciate it.

We had such a fantastic time and are all still talking of what a pleasure it was to have an apartment and to rent from you. We plan to tell anyone who asks that that is the way to go.

First I would like to thank both of you for all your patience related to the rental of an apartment in Paris.  You answered all of my questions in a frank and timely way.  If this is an example of the caliber of service that we can expect once we arrive in Paris, then we are in for an exciting time without having to worry about our accommodations.  Frankly, all the options on your web site were presented in a very professional way and each place looked lovely.  It was a difficult choice.

We are currently staying in one of Porter Scott's apartments on the rue de Cherche-Midi.

We are pleased to endorse the quality of Porter's residences. This is our 6th rental with At Home Abroad (I Love Paris Apartments) and is the only Paris rental service we now use. Unlike some of the other rental services (where we once had an uncomfortable experience with an individual owner), this is an organized & well managed group. The pictures on the web-site give an accurate feeling for the atmosphere of each apartment.

The first time we reserved we had no idea what to expect (at that time payment was 50% in advance by wire transfer or check; as you know you now have the protection of credit card). We are always met at the apartment (on time), provided with the keys & if it is the first time shown around & given an explanation of how to use the appliances, heat, etc.

We are Americans who have lived in Paris either full time or part-time between 1984-2004, and now that our visits are less frequent, it's especially important that where we stay keeps our Paris experience authentic.
Porter's apartments are in great neighbourhoods, on the Left Bank particularly.

I am a registered nurse here in Australia and my husband is the manager of a large pub! We have previously had our own hotel so have some experience of the hospitality industry! We are very much looking forward to our visit as this will be my second stay in one of your apartments. Last year I stayed with a friend in your Cardinal Lemoine apartment and we loved it so much that this year I am bringing my whole family! Quite an undertaking all the way from Australia!
I had no hesitation this year in booking through your web-site because I was so impressed both with your service and the apartment itself last year! Your attention to detail and obvious pride in your apartments is second to none! Cardinal Lemoine was a beautiful apartment, obviously much loved by its' owners, and we so appreciated all their personal touches!
This year I decided we would stay in the Marais district for our Parisian experience and I know we won't be disappointed! It is nice to discover new locations but charm and a typical Parisian experience are high on our list of priorities.
We have had several rental properties of our own here in Australia and understand the effort involved and implications of letting strangers in to your property. I hope our guests felt as welcome as we did during our visit to you! We would like to visit Paris more often than we are able (due to the tyranny of distance!) but my parents have a holiday house near Toulouse so I have been fortunate to visit in 2006 and 2007!
We were originally drawn to your web-site for the same reason we loved your apartment - the high quality and attention to detail makes it stand out from the rest.
